Brixham is a fantastic base from which to explore all the many delights that Devon has to offer. Built around a pretty harbour, the town has a variety of places to shop, dine out and explore. Whether you want to sit at a harbourside cafe and watch the world go by, or hike to a nearby town along the famous South West Coast path - you'll be spoilt for choice for places to visit. Torbay is blessed with a variety of beaches and coves and we have two National Trust properties within a very short driving distance. From Brixham harbour you can hop aboard a ferry to Torquay, take a pleasure cruise along the coast, or try your hand at fishing on one of the day boats. Cockington Country Park with it's many thatched houses is great for a chilled day out and a Devon cream tea. From nearby Paignton - board a steam train for a trip across viaducts, on through rolling hills and down to Kingswear where you can cross by ferry to Elizabethan Dartmouth, or enjoy a full day out at Paignton Zoo and Environmental Park. A little further afield is Dartmoor National Park, Plymouth Aquarium and historical Plymouth Hoe. So many things to do and places to see, we're sure you'll want to return. Our property is situated in a residential area of Brixham en-route to Berry Head Country Park - about 10 minutes’ walk to town, to the coast path, a local supermarket and Brixham Indoor Pool. With a generously sized private off road parking space, you'll receive a very warm welcome.

Arriving into Brixham - Trawler Lights is accessed via main roads (no narrow back streets). You will have your own large off-road parking space, although there's space to park in the road outside if you prefer. Buses to and from town run daily from bus stops very nearby, and it's roughly a ten minute walk from Trawler Lights to the town centre if you're exploring on foot. There is a small flight of steps down to your front door, and the property is on two levels.
