The plus point of the property is it’s location. It’s far from the town and in the middle of nowhere, which is exactly what we wanted. The view from every corner is perfect. The guy in the kitchen, I think his name is sanjeev. He is so welcoming, helpful and sweet. There is TV in kitchen/cafe, we watched IPL matches with him. I am forgetting the name of the guy who took us on Hatu peak trek. What a well spoken and calm person he is. It rained the entire day we reached and it got so cold that it was unbearable after a point. So please carry enough woollen clothes even in summers. Food is expensive, really expensive but keeping in mind the accessibility and the property’s distance from the city, it’s worth it. Everything is perfect except the pictures shown here. I think the pictures were taken of brand new rooms but they are not so new anymore.
The place is a himalayan retreat in a beautiful surrounding. It is good for adventure seekers. There is absolutely nothing in a radius of 6 kms. The retreat staff and the manager are very helpful. Recommend to avoid winters there as it can become excessively cold with limited heating in the room.
The Tour guy was good. Tracking was informative. Food was okay. TV in the room would have been very good since it was raining and being inside was boring. There was no network, only at one or two locations poor signals were there. Furniture was not enough and whatever was available was not comfortable.
