Ana’s place is a great find, very well located with private access to the Cenote Emeralda. The house was super clean and the kitchen well equipped. We had a great time amd would love to come back again! Thanks for having us :)

Lovely home dating back to probably the 70’s w/ an amazing view of Bacalar. It reminded me of my Grandmother’s house when times were simple & unpretentious. Great option to get away from overpriced, overrated, trendy & gentrified boutique hotels. Located on Ave. Costera and sits on about an acre lot beautifully maintained by Joaquin. It is equipped with all the essentials and great if you have a family with you. It had vests, a kayak, a separate palapa area for a cook out. Suggestions to take this home to another level: Add an AC in the living room/dining room so guests won’t be limited to AC in bedrooms only. Install a TV. Add a microwave in the kitchen. Water is pumped to the house from the lake. Update plumbing systems to connect to city waster instead of Lake water. It causes dry skin & irritation to those with sensitive skin. Trim up trees by the lake for a broader view. We appreciated Joaquin for his hospitality & attention to detail! He totally deserves a major bonus :)
