Glens place has a lovely relaxed vibe. It was such a pleasant space to sit and chill out in. We really enjoyed our time there reading books inside and taking long walks along the beach at low tide. It was a fantastic location. If it wasnt on 5he other side of the world we'd be regular visitors!

We stayed two nights and loved the bach, very homely and quintessential Kiwi. Right across the road from the beach, we and our two German Shepherd dogs had fun exploring the riverside behind (found a cave) and the beach on the river mouth. Take all your food/supplies with you, there’s not much around - but the Bach is well equipped, along with a bbq. Make sure to check out the Three Sisters (low tide if you can). Thanks Glen, for a fabulous stay and being so helpful.

A wonderful bach with all the amenities you need for your holiday. Easy walk down steps to the majesty and wildness of the beach. Obviously good fishing, as this spot is loved by the fisher-people. Dog-friendly and fenced. The bach is really nicely styled and there are some thoughtful condiments/tea & coffee, which all make this a bit special. Magazines and games. Remember your dressing gown for the outside bathroom at night. Glen is a top communicator and will make sure you're right at home. Highly recommend and will be happy to return!

Excellent location to beach and river for fishing and swimming. Sheltered from wind and a warm home. Comfortable bed and everything we needed to have a super break.

Awesome little bach, perfect place for a relaxing stay in gorgeous Mokau. Lots of personality, great access to the beach and estuary while being sheltered a bit from the beachfront winds. Heaps of room to hang out outside and plenty to stay entertained inside. Glen was super friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!
