Enjoy a beautiful quiet 18th-century home in the oceanside city of Salem. We pride ourselves on providing a cozy space to stay and take in the charm of Salem that we love so much. I started in the hospitality industry 9 years ago and enjoy traveling the world. So I wanted to provide a fantastic experience for others who wish to explore the city I call home. Experience why so many people love Witch City! The space is the entire first floor in my two-family 18th-century home. There is a private separate guest entrance with free parking for two cars (a massive plus in Salem). Bedroom 1 is spacious and features original wide plank wood flooring. Bedroom 2 is a small cozy space overlooking our neighbor's garden. There is a separate office space with a desk. The living room is spacious with a couch, three antique armchairs, and a TV with cable and access to sign in to your streaming services. The kitchen is fully stocked and ready for whatever cooking you may want to do. In the kitchen, there is also a large table with 4 chairs, in case you want to cook dinner during your stay or perhaps play some games. The bathroom has a tub/shower, commode, and sink with a mirror. Feel free to join us in our yard and garden as we often will sit outside in the evening and unwind!

The apartment was really comfortable and nice, walking distance to the downtown wharf area shops and restaurants. The included parking is a definite plus for Salem. Mariam, the host, was extremely helpful and communicative.

A long weekend get away with my girlfriends from grade school and my 17 year old daughter. First time do Salem. This was such a cute little cozy place. All it was missing was a fireplace and it would have been perfect. Only about 0.3-0.5 mile walk to the popular part of town. The couch was so cozy I was always dozing off on it. When we come back we will def be staying here again.

Mariam’s place was spacious and comfortable and so close to the waterfront, walking trails, restaurants and all that historic Salem has to offer. I’d definitely stay here again!

Mariam’s place is in the heart of Salem and is perfect walking distance to everything you may want to do! She was a fabulous host, responding quickly to any questions we had! The space was perfect for my friend and I to have a wonderful stay in Salem! She went above and beyond for us! We will definitely stay here again when we visit next! It is a spot that has everything you need!

The house is nestled into the cozy, quiet Derby Street neighborhood, a very short walk to shops, restaurants, parks, and historic sites. The Salem Ferry to Boston is a 1 min walk across the street from the house. The House of the Seven Gables is a 3 minute walk down Derby Street. Derby Wharf historic park and harbor is a 5 minute walk down Derby Street. Downtown Salem is an 8-10 minute walk. Take a stroll down any of the side streets in our neighborhood and you will find yourself back in time, passing by homes that were built in the 1700's.

There are two designated off-street parking spots that come with your booking. Please message me if additional parking may be needed. The Salem Ferry to Boston is a 1 minute walk across the street. The commuter rail is a 15 minute walk. From the house all sites, shops, restaurants are a short walk away.
