It's a great spot and very isolated. It's up a dirt road so you need a SUV but very peaceful. Awesome spot to enjoy breakfast at on the patio before a day at the cloud forest.

Amazing location, we saw toucans flying overhead throughout each day and could walk to Curi Cancha reserve. The house was lovely and very clean and had a lot of character. There were some bugs, especially on the first day when we arrived, but that’s a given in the tropics.

Samantha's place is much bigger than we expected, and in such a peaceful location. we loved the view, and the outdoor hammock. The place was fully stocked with anything you could want, plus there were several vases of fresh flowers that were a beautiful touch. The location was perfect for the things we wanted to do in the area. We loved it.

Samantha was great with communication, friendly and extremely attentive. The house is about 1/3 mile from the main road to the Monteverde Forest Bio Preserve. It’s ideally situated to avoid traffic and tourists; extraordinarily peaceful and beautiful.. The house is a 3 BR 3 bath beauty that was clearly designed and built by someone who loved what they were doing. Its placement has it settled among some tranquil forest, offering a gorgeous sunset, while permitting you to see all sorts of fauna up close (morning of departure we saw toucans, toucanets, many parrots, wrens, creepers, jays, etc, and an agouti, all from the patios). The kitchen is well stocked, ideal for cooking simply or elaborately. The master bedroom has a huge bathtub (this thing is twice the size of what I have in the US). The beds are very comfortable and large. Hardwood floors and extra-wide doors and sizeable bathrooms would make it ideal for handicap access. After 42 AirB&Bs, this is our absolute favorite.
