The brilliant community run village pub, the Sir Walter Raleigh, is just a minutes' walk and serves local beer and great food. Woodbury Common, the River Otter and Budleigh Salterton are all within a pleasant walk through the countryside and lanes. This really is a quaint unspoilt Devon village with its ancient church and village school and shop run by the locals. An entrance door takes you into a spacious and tastefully furnished living room/dining room with original exposed beams. French doors go out to a secluded rear patio area with garden furniture and BBQ. There is a small summerhouse with a WC utility. Very well-equipped kitchen with integrated appliances.
