Cleanliness not good. The kitchen utensils were still covered in food and the fridge and freezer was revolting. Bowels and plates were mouldy, and everything needed scrubbed before it was useable. The owner did offer to have someone come and clean, however we needed to be in the flat during this and we were straight into working 12 hour shifts with no set finish time for the next 4 days, so we couldn’t arrange this. The flat was so cold we could see our breath and the heaters did nothing but eat the electric. We were only informed 48hrs before arrival that it was an electric key that we would need to top up and pay for, meaning we wouldn’t cancel or change accommodation despite being two students who couldn’t budget for this and it was absolutely extortionate despite only using minimal lights and cooking dinner. There was no carbon monoxide alarm despite there being a wood burning fire and oil heaters throughout. The stay was nothing but miserable.

The lodging was lovely, excellently located and well-equipped, we were thankful for the apple tree. The house decor was pretty, with a comfy and cosy ambience. The downsides were the electricity bill was charged additionally separate from the rental and the water heater broke down for 5 days, they took time to repair it, we think it could have been rectified sooner. Other than those few grievances, we enjoyed our stay there. The house was located right in the city, with all shops, restaurants, ammenities in town right at your doorstep.

great weekend break at Foxflat, comfortable, great location,easy access. Johnny was easy to communicate with. nicely furnished flat, double bedroom is at back of house it was quiet. if concerned about road noise, it wasnt an issue. No neighbours to consider which is good. lovely private garden at rear if weather is on your side. would not hesitate to stay again if visiting the area in the future.

Grand appartement calme , tout en étant au coeur du village. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'espace, le confort, le bon équipement. Nous avons découvert avec beaucoup de plaisir et d'intérêt cette région . Il y a de superbes endroits, des randonnées dans la montagne et près de la mer où il y a très peu de monde. Les paysages sont superbes . Beaucoup de choses à visiter. N'hésitez pas à choisir ce logement : vous y serez très bien et vous ferez de belles découvertes.
