My sister and i booked fiona’s place for a 60th birthday weekend away for our mum. The place was spotless and clean. Fiona was a great host and i really felt that nothing was too much to ask. When she found out it was for a birthday she went out of her way to decorate the place with birthday banners and balloons. She also left a birthday cake, bottle of wine and chocolates and a birthday card. The facilities provide were outstanding and i’d highly recommend this place to anyone.

Beautiful accommodation- the picture’s don’t even do it justice! The house was spotless and spacious with it being 6 of us staying ( and two dogs! ) Location of the house was perfect, quite hid away with gorgeous views. The house had a secure garden which was great for the dogs to run around in. Fiona was a fantastic host who greeted us on our arrival and made us feel at home. Would highly recommend to stay here. Hopefully we can book again next year. Thank’s again. 🫶🏽🤞🏽

Perfect Scottish get away! My family and I all loved staying here. Great space for a family of 6. (3 couples) Can't wait to come back.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Byre- Fiona was an excellent host and was very responsive and helpful. Lovely space for the 4 of us and my parents dog who had free reign of the garden and loved the walk into Castle Douglas. Beautiful surroundings and lots to do in the area - we'll definitely be back!

Beautiful accommmodation and Fiona is an excellent host. Mentioned that we were stopping on the way at Loch Arthur Farm Shop (highly recommend) to get Gluten Free bread for our daughter, so Fiona emailed a local baker to find if they did it too. She also added some GF macaroons to the prosecco and chocolates for our arrival, which was a lovely, thoughtful thing to do.
