Great location and an ideal layout for our group’s needs. The house was built in 1903 but has been modernized to suit 21st Century standards while retaining its original vibe. Kitchen has basic amenities. Super easy check in, host was very welcoming and responsive.

Had a pleasant stay. Chose it for convenience to hospital one mile away. Big spacious bedrooms with 4 actual beds (not sofa beds) were a plus. The entire house needs a paint job and some porch cleaning. The pictures on the listing are doctored to show painted walls—not accurate. There are also areas where style is chosen over convenience. The main bath shower curtain situation is clumsy and there’s no shelf to set toiletries inside the shower space. The washer/dryer unit is in an odd kitchen half-space where you can’t open the washer lid fully and have to bend over to peer/reach inside the nook to access the knobs. In the other bath, there’s an ancient showerhead and no curtain on the window, and the neighbors (who are outside a lot) can see right in. Finally, this house is not in the best neighborhood. Stragglers (not neighbors) outside late at night, several houses for sale and abandoned buildings. A couple more deadlocks on the doors would help visitors feel more secure.

It’s a lovely, historic home on a beautiful tree-lined street! Rachel was friendly and communicative throughout the whole process. There was plenty of towels, bedding and pillows for our 4-person party. It felt like a home away from home after our long days at a conference. Definitely recommend!

The place is great and the location is prime. You do share a driveway with the house next door. Communication was great and pricing is a good deal for the location.
