Let Black Bear Resort be your playground! 55 Black Bear is a part of Hybrid program so you're not only our guest you are the guest of Black Bear Resort. There is so much to do just within the property from evening strolls with expansive views to recreational games like horseshoes, volleyball & putt putt. Currently the pool is closed.

This cabin was clean and cozy with a big, comfortable couch and comfortable beds. We loved the bear and woods themed decor. The mud room was so useful after a long day of hiking. We came for spring break, so snow wasn’t the weather we expected when we booked, but we ended up having amazing hikes and pictures in a winter wonderland!
This cabin was perfect for our family of four. Our two kids stayed in the upstairs loft, and my wife and I were in the main floor bedroom. Firewood is supplied, so each evening we had the fireplace going. Each room was cozy and comfortable, and the kitchen had all the things you would need to make a small meal. We drove into Davis for our dinners, and of course Canaan and Timberline are about 10-15 minutes south of this place. Thea gave great instructions on how to get checked in to the place, it was all very straightforward.
My family lucked out with a great weekend for skiing and excellent accommodations at this property. We will certainly be back!
