We are located in the Columbia Valley Wetlands (Brisco) between Golden and Invermere, BC.
The Columbia Wetlands are one of the world’s living natural treasures and as such, they have been recognized as a Ramsar site, a wetlands of international importance. With more than 260 bird species recorded, as well as numerous fish, reptiles, amphibians, mammals species and countless invertebrates, the Columbia Wetlands is a hotspot of biodiversity. Nestled between British Columbia’s Rocky and Purcell mountain ranges, these wetlands are the source of the largest river flowing into the Pacific Ocean in North America—the mighty Columbia. It is here in our own wild backyard that everything begins.
These wetlands provide essential winter habitat for hundreds of elk and deer. Moose, wolf, cougar, coyote, beaver, river otter and grizzly bears are just some of the larger mammals that call this place home.

Brisco is the small hamlet you will turn off the highway from. Brisco and Spiilimacheen are a lovely surprise as you travel north of Radium Hot Springs on Highway 95. Just waiting to be discovered, these two charming little gems are nestled between the Rocky Mountains and the Purcells, amid tall stands of Douglas fir and Lodgepole pine and dotted with groves of delicate aspen.
Brisco and Spillimacheen (‘Spilli” as it is affectionately called by valley residents, 11 Km north of Brisco) are located in what is primarily, farming and ranching country, with some forestry and tourism tossed in. Wildlife is plentiful here; white-tailed and mule deer, elk, moose and black bear have their homes in the surrounding wilderness.

You need your transportation as we are 5 KM. off of HWY 95. We have a wonderful country store just north of Brisco Rd. If you want to dine out you will have to travel to Spur Valley, Radium, Invermere, and Golden, all of which are at least 20 mins from the Nature's Paradise.
