If you are looking to be our in Nature this is the perfect place to stay. Erics house is on a piece of liand that has 2 rivers on it. you can hear the rivers from the bed room. you will also be greeted by a friendly orange cat who will join you for your morning coffee. Erick goes above and beyond as a host. He gave us a tour of the town and property even gave us home made banana bread.

Wow! Erik and his home are both wonderful to experience! He was very thoughtful as we were arriving in a storm and offered to meet us at the top of the mountain. I'd recommend having a car with a decent motor and being a skilled driver as the main road is steep and has pot holes. Once we made it safely Erik hopped in our car and gave us a tour of all the free swimming spots in the area and places to eat where we would be heading the next day. Home was spotless with a firm but nice double bed and the grounds were stunning and well maintained. I'd suggest this place to anyone! well, expect maybe ones with small children due to the artist architecture. it was an honor to stay with Erik and have some of his bannana bread!

Erik is a gem of a host. He welcomed us with banana bread (his signature) and showed us a local swimming hole in the beautiful milky blue river that flows from the volcano Poas. The house is architecturally distinctive, having been modeled after a Frank Gehry building in Panama City. Calming river sounds and beautiful mountain views are what we will remember, in addition to Erik’s hospitality. Great for a night or a week, your choice!

Erick es una persona super atenta me encantó el mini tour que nos dio, tuvimos una idea de lo que haríamos el fin de semana y logramos disfrutar de las bellezas que ofrece bajos del toro. además siempre está pendiente por aquello si uno necesita cualquier cosa y las meriendas que nos entregó estuvieron deliciosas definitivamente un lugar para salir de la rutina y disfrutar de la tranquilidad del campo . los invito a que visiten el lugar les va a encantar!!!!

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in Eriks Haus. Es ist ein sehr schönes Haus mit vielen Fenstern und toller Terasse. Auch das Grundstück ist klasse, direkt am Fluss, wir sahen dort auch Kolibris. Erik zeigte uns einige tolle Spots in der Gegend, er gab sich viel Mühe, damit wir uns wohlfühlen.
