It was an amazing experience! 10/10; Valentin and Nina were great hosts and I'd stay here again in the future. They're very eco-friendly as well, and were overall fantastically sweet and eager to answer your questions anytime/give recommendations for places to eat/tour etc :) The fan was great to sleep under as well!

We spent a lovely night in Valentin’s suite. It is beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean. It has a lovely balcony with an ocean view. There is complementary filtered water outside the room, which is always a welcome addition whilst travelling. The Airbnb is in an excellent location, close the water front with its many bars, shops and restaurants. Valentin was a responsive and helpful host. Just a few things to be aware of: (1) access to the suite is by a narrow staircase that older people or those with large suitcases may struggle with, (2) the bathroom is external to the bedroom, down a staircase (wasn’t a problem, but guests should be aware before booking), (3) there was no air conditioning (there is a fan pointing at the bed and opening the balcony doors provides a slight breeze, but this is not enough in the intense Galapagos heat and risks allowing insects and lizards into the bedroom).

Wir haben knapp drei Wochen in der Unterkunft bei Valentin verbracht. Wir wurden direkt familiär begrüßt und aufgenommen, wir haben noch keine so netten Menschen bisher in einem Urlaub angetroffen. Die Unterkunft ist etwas ganz besonderes und ähnelt einem Tiny-House, alles ist super durchdacht und man hat wirklich alles was man braucht. Man ist in wenigen Gehminuten direkt in der Stadt. Valentin gibt vor Ort sämtliche Tipps für gute Restaurants, Ausflüge, Strände etc. Über seinen Vater konnten wir ausführlicher über Ausflüge beraten werden und diese dann auch über ihn buchen, beide haben für uns alles hervorragend organisiert. Wir haben uns rundum den gesamten Urlaub wohlgefühlt und vermissen Santa Cruz bereits jetzt schon. Selbst mit deutscher Sprache konnte Valentin und sein Papa dienen. Diese Unterkunft können wir nur empfehlen. Wir hatten hier einen traumhaften, unvergesslichen Urlaub - womöglich sogar unseren bisher schönsten! Beste Grüße, Laura & Roy

Our stay at Valentin’s was great! The place is something else and beautiful. The location is quite but central so you can walk everywhere easily. Would recommend staying there!

Sehr stylische und durchdachte Unterkunft! Sehr zentrale Lage (nur wenige Gehminuten vom Fischmarkt entfernt). Nina hat uns beim Check-In, der Einweisung der Unterkunft sowie bei Tipps für die Gegend sehr geholfen :)
