Stunning 3 cottage - sleeps 6 This luxurious cottage has 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, utility room, well equipped kitchen with dining area and living room. There is a balcony off the kitchen area providing an extension to the kitchen with stunning views. Situated in a tranquil location between Truro and Falmouth and very central to most places in the beautiful county of Cornwall. Set on a 5 star rated gated community within 13 wooded areas with exclusive leisure facilities.

Tony and Alison did a great job at communicating with us before our stay and couldn't have been any more helpful. The property actually looked even better than the photos and was spotless. They had even left us a bottle of wine and some dog treats for our arrival. The property had everything your could have needed and was well provisioned with dishwasher tablets, bin liners, herb/spices, washing detergent - even beach towels! It was a great 4 day stay over Easter and everyone loved the accommodation. The the layout is also very suitable for groups, with twin beds, 3 toilets and utility room. Considering we were their first guests, you would have thought that Alison and Tony had been doing this for years!

The cottage is set within The Valley, a 13 acre wooded area, within the tranquil village of Carnon Downs which is approx. 5 miles from Truro and 9 miles from Falmouth.
It is set within a unique 5* gated community consisting of 46 cottages. As a guest you will have access to the resorts extensive on-site leisure facilities which include:
- a heated outdoor pool (seasonal)
- a heated indoor pool available 9am -9pm, to book for 30-60 minutes for your private use (booked the day before use)
- private spa pool (booked the day before use)
- the Cafe Azura (open from Easter to end of October)
- tennis and squash courts
- private gym (bookable)
- games room including table tennis & PS3
- wooded areas that lead to public pathways leading to the village
- designated dog walk and exercise field.
The Valley is positioned centrally in Cornwall and is no more that half an hour to many gorgeous beaches. You are within an hours drive to anywhere in Cornwall including Penzance, Padstow and Port Isaac. There is an endless list of excellent hostelries offering wonderful gastronomic experiences using local produce.
Enjoy your holiday whether it involves:
- relaxing in the cottage and grounds and using the generous on-site facilities
- walking, cycling, surfing, sailing or kayaking
-exploring our National Heritage
- star gazing at Chapel Carn Brea
- visiting the many tourist attractions such as the Cornish Seal Sanctuary at Gweek, Tregothan Tea etc
- visiting the many National Trust properties including Trelissick, Godolphin, Trerice, Glendurgan Garden or St Michael's Mount.
- visiting the many outstanding local hostelries including The Royal Oak at Perranwell (2.5 mls), The Old Quay Inn at Devoran (2.2 mls) or The Pandora Inn at Restronguet, Mylor Bridge (5.5. mls).

出行信息

There are buses running from Carnon Downs to Falmouth and Truro but as The Valley is set just outside the village a car is considered essential.
There is a station at Perranwell just 2.5 miles away that can take you to Falmouth.
I have been informed that most of the car parks are owned by The National Trust so if you have a membership you park for free!
