A romantic retreat in the heart of the Norfolk countryside. The hot tub is a must for relaxing in, which is available all year round. There is a log burner in the winter months for that cosy and romantic ambience. The village pub, which serves good food and drink, is only an 8 minute walk away. There are plenty of lovely walks in and around the village too. We have books and games and Alexa and the TV is Netflix enabled. It's time to take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Set in the heart of the Norfolk countryside with Peddars Way, the Pingo Trail and Cycle Route on the doorstep.

Just had a very relaxing weekend at the lovely Deer Cottage. It was easy to find in a very quiet, pretty village. Tina was right next door if needed and very responsive to messages. We arrived to a lovely welcome basket full of treats and some delicious freshly baked bread. The hot tub is very relaxing and as we sat in it with a glass of wine a deer popped through the fence and started eating the leaves around the garden. It was beautiful to watch. We had a delicious chinese takeaway from Great China in Watton, we collected it as we didn’t have cash, but they do deliver. We walked to The Chequers pub which is just around the corner, unfortunately they had finished serving food so we just had a drink, so check the times if you are wanting to eat there. Maybe in the summer they might be open longer hours. Nobody’s fault, just a heads up. So basically a lovely, cosy cottage, perfect for a relaxing break.

Beautiful and spotless cottage that has everything you need. Hot tub lovely and cottage surrounded by fields . Tina was great and baked homemade bread and cake for us along with a very generous hamper.
Wonderful stay at Tina’s beautiful cottage. The welcome basket and cake was just such a lovely welcome. Tina and Greg were really friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. The hot tub was just a perfect addition and the book shelves made me very happy. The log burner in the evening made it a very calm and cosy stay. Thank you very much, we will be back soon!
I got this as a gift for my son and his fiancé, they said it was perfect, peaceful and had everything they needed, they enjoyed it so much they are rebooking. Tina is a fantastic host answered all questions within minutes. Thank you so much for providing a little haven of peace that was needed to unwind

Deer Cottage has a beautiful cottage garden and is situated on the edge of the village. A peaceful location but a hop skip and a jump away from the village centre.
A car is beneficial for travelling to the nearest market towns, other villages and Cities and to the Coast.
There is a bus service from the nearest town, 3 miles away; a train station 9 miles away and a taxi a phone call away.
