This rental is for entire, lower, 3 Bdrm guest wing. You will want to pinch yourself as you enjoy your morning coffee on the dock or deck of this tranquil Lake Tapps waterfront home. This home offers 100 Ft of waterfront, multiple docks, decks, patio space. Plenty of room to bring your boat and Seadoo's. Featuring a waterside gazebo, BBQ, firepit, kayaks, and float tubes. Theres even a hot tub at the ready with a power lift gazebo cover. Come and enjoy a slice of heaven in our home. Our lower Mother in Law or Guest wing, has its own separate entrance, kitchen, living room, breakfast bar, bathroom, and 3 very large bedrooms. You get exclusive use of the Hot Tub and the waterfront along with Kayaks, standup paddle board, float tubes, party raft, BBQ, stereo, etc etc

During an unexpected family emergency, John's Lake Tapps home was a haven of tranquility. His immediate response and willingness to accommodate us showcased unparalleled hospitality. Nestled by the water, the property offered a serene escape, transforming our ordeal into peaceful respite. Perfectly located, it allowed us to keep our daily routines, especially for my children's school commitments, with minimal disruption. John's flexibility and understanding eased our stress, adding a vacation-like relaxation to our lives amidst turmoil with our home. John's residence wasn't just a place to stay; it became a memorable sanctuary providing solace and joy. The enchanting setting combined with John and his wife’s exceptional care left us profoundly grateful. Highly recommended for those seeking tranquility and a welcoming atmosphere in a beautiful lakeside retreat.
John’s space was a steal for Christmas and New Year’s. The lakefront and mountain views were absolutely gorgeous. The apartment had plenty of space for 4 adults and 2 kids, and there were board games and card games available for the family to enjoy. John also provided toiletries and kitchen amenities/appliances…even wood for the fire pit! My family is already talking about staying there again during Spring or Summer to take advantage of the warmer weather on the lake. Would definitely recommend to others!

This is THE way to experience the serenity of Lake Tapps. The view of Mt. Rainier is unparalleled…especially while sipping a coffee during sunrise from the super unique hot tub setup. Even if it rains John’s place offers tranquility to escape the stresses of life. My wife and I stayed here with our 2 year old and would definitely be back or have family stay here while visiting. If you’re in the market to buy this place is definitely worth a look!! John and his wife have setup this mother-in-law suite for the perfect staycation getaway! They are super hospitable and we are grateful for their accommodating nature. A truly unique Lake Tapps experience!

You will be staying on our "private, gated, Island called Island 21. There are 21 lots with both front & Back waterfrontage, both Eastern & Western exposure which makes it unique to Lake Tapps. We are just 25 mins from Seatac Airport, 45 mins from Seattle, an hour from Crystal Mountain, 90 mins from Snoqualmie pass.
We have tons of parking, even room for boat trailers or RV's. Enough parking for about 18 cars if need be.

My wife and I have lived on Lake Tapps for the past 17 yrs with our 4 kids. We are just starting to be empty nesters and decided why not share a little slice of what we call Heaven on earth. There is just something about that morning sunrise with coffee, sitting on the deck overlooking the water with Bald Eagles & Mount Rainier in the background, that'll bring a smile to your face while you unwind from whatever stress is in your life.
