Features lounges with fireplaces, saloon wet bars, game room, fully equipped kitchens, banquet and dining rooms, porch with rockers, screened porch, commercial sauna, and deck overlooking woods. Suitable for corporate retreats, weddings, and private parties. Camp Because I said I would is owned by a charity, so 100% of our fees go to our nonprofit. Because I said I would is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and we have programs for families in bereavement at this camp. However, we rent our 5 resort cabins during downtime to generate funding for the charity! Our 92-acre camp and retreat center is in the heart of Amish Country in Knox County where it is very peaceful, private and quiet. Our property features a 1.5-acre swimming and fishing lake (seasonal), a 2-acre vineyard, 1-mile of privately-owned canopied forest trails and a Recreation Library full of over 100 board games, 400 Blu-Ray movies, kites, boomerangs, bocce ball, other yard games and so much more! All of it is free to use for our guests. We are so much more than just a place to sleep!
