FAVORITE LOCAL RESTAURANTS Within walking distance, Corner of Indianapolis and Beach is an amazing fish taco joint. For more sophisticated dining, go to Pacific City in Main Street. It's a new trendy spot adjacent to the beach which has very popular dining such as Blue Gold (seafood), Ola Mexican food and many more. Downtown is more seasoned and original but still has a great vibe with lots of restaurants and shopping. Electric shuttle ride circuit service offers ride to main street, pier, shopping areas and restaurants from 12-9 Monday-Thursday, Friday/Saturday 10-10pm and Sunday 10-9pm $2 dollars/person and can take 5 people. Wahoo's fish tacos is good as well as Dukes which is right on the water next to the pier. It's a popular nightlife spot for locals. OTHER POINTS OF INTEREST The following applies locally.. The pier is awesome! You can fish off the pier or catch some amazing views. You can also watch some of the best surfers in the world shred the north and south side of the pier. Huntington Beach is home to the biggest surfing tournament in the United States. It's an amazing event that attracts lots of people. There are also great volleyball games that happen on the beach near the pier. There is also a farmers' market by the pier. Bolsa Chica State Park is a great place to have a bonfire on the beach in one of the many fire pits provided. There are also some amazing walking trails through the Bolsa Chica wetlands just on the other side of Pacific Coast Hwy from Bolsa Chica State Park. Pacific City and some new and trendy hotels are just a 5-minute drive away. As mentioned before, Pacific City is a must see. Get a coffee at Philz Coffee. It's amazing. NEAR BY: Newport beach, Disneyland, Universal Studios Knotts Berry Farm, Little Saigon, Hollywood and Beverly Hills or Malibu is a great day trip. There is too much to mention!
