My husband had a great little getaway at Deborah’s place! She was very helpful and responsive and the island itself is so adorable and beautiful!

This was a wonderful rustic getaway. We loved turning off our phones, listening to the loons, canoeing around, swimming, reading, and watching the ospreys. We had some trouble figuring out how to get the propane fridge working, and so, rather than turning on our phones and asking the hosts for help, ended up deciding to just using our cooler, and our food was fine for the three nights we were there. Even so, we had a lovely time.

If you think of it more like camping it’s really great. The surroundings are beautiful. It was pretty hot one day and since there is no electricity there isn’t a fan or anything. We were also rained in another day but we actually enjoyed that. We didn’t cook there, we would go out to eat and use the restroom there. Checking the weather is a good idea.
