An absolutely beautiful Airbnb. Everything about this little lake house was perfect. The view over the lake is absolutely stunning and the inside of the house is much larger than it looks in photos. It had everything we could need for our stay. Could not recommend more and will most definitely be back!

Absolutely stunning... five stars isn't enough. This is an amazing find - beautiful lakehouse with spotless interior, tasteful decor and everything you could possibly need, and more! Felt so homely, cosy and tranquil from the moment we arrived (cake was very nice, thank you so much)! Very spacious accommodation with lovely high ceiling to living area (much bigger then we expected from the photo's). So much wildlife to see from the balcony or in the cosiness of the lounge. The swans were absolutely delightful!! Lovely bright large kitchen area with so much space and the view from windows amazing! Bed extremely comfy, we slept so well after chilling out with cosy throws and twinkly lights around the decking. We didnt meet Lynne, but she was extremely helpful when I spoke to her. This is an absolute gem of a find, please book a stay here, you wont regret it. We'll definitely be back... very soon, I hope!

Well, if you enjoy noise, traffic, and too many other human beings per square mile … this really isn’t the place for you! Never before have I had the pleasure to be woken by the ‘quacks’ of ducks and geese, or opened the curtains to be greeted by a pair of majestic swans, on the lake waters lapping at the base of my balcony, looking for an extra bit of breakfast. Then on the way to the shower, sneak a peak through the blinds at the front of the property and there they are again … my faithful fluffy tailed friends. Yes, like everyone else who’s walked their dog through the countryside I’ve spotted a single grey tail in the trees from time to time but never before have I had part of my space occupied by a family of five squirrels. They sit there most of the morning picking up the discarded seed from the bird feeder chomping away as fast as their little front teeth can muster. For me it was an enchanting place to be. Shame to leave.

This was our second visit to the lake house and we will definitely be back again. The house and setting are absolutely gorgeous, it’s so peaceful and just the perfect place for a couple of nights break away. Shrewsbury and Church Stretton are only 15 mins away so plenty to do if you want to, but it’s so beautiful and cosy at the house you don’t feel the need to go out! 10/10.

This was our second visit in the year to the Lakehouse and it was just as beautiful in the winter as it was in the summer. We just wanted to drop out of the world for a few days and thats exactly what we did. Lynne is so thoughtful and the Lakehouse is so beautiful ,there was even a Christmas tree up when we arrived! Were now planning our next visit and it cant come too soon.Much love Jacqui and Phil xx
