New to Airbnb in April 23 The Folly is set in the small garden of our cottage. Light, spacious and totally unique. Accommodation only. No kitchen but there's a fridge, microwave, coffee machine etc. Good wi-fi, TV screen & Firestick for streaming on your own accounts & DVD player. Double bed. Secluded outside area, barbeque & shared terrace. Off street parking. 12 minutes' walk from the station and close to Falmouth University. Good access to all areas of Cornwall. Discount for 3+ nights. The Folly consists of a large airy room with high ceiling leading into a cosy bedroom with standard double bed and brand new en-suite shower room. Cool in the summer and with good ventilation, there is also good heating that you can control independently. There’s a front entrance as well as as a side door that leads onto a secluded leafy area where you can sit out undisturbed. This can be shady at times so you’re welcome to sit out on the sunny terrace where there’s a table, parasol and a sun loungers. We sometimes use this terrace but have an area away from the folly so you won’t be disturbed.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Folly. Claire was a friendly host, but also gave us plenty of space. The place itself is beautiful. Very well loved with a comfortable sitting area and bed. Given there isn’t a kitchen, The Folly is well equipped with a kettle, toaster, microwave etc, and plenty of crockery. Lovely outside seating options. Would definitely recommend.
Nous avons passé un agréable moment à La Folly chez Claire & Philip. Le logement était vraiment très charmant et bien équipé. Nous avons en outre passé une excellente soirée au Old Oak, le pub local, lors de la soirée quizz! A lovely place to stay!

We loved our stay at The Folly, sadly we had only planned to stay for one night - we didn’t want to leave! A very sweet, cosy and peaceful little place with beautiful surroundings. Claire was very communicative and flexible with our very late arrival, and even greeted us at the door. We highly recommend staying at this hidden gem, a very good price for a perfect getaway!
Wow! What can I say other than it’s excellent. Stylish, elegant, spotless, luxurious and comfortable. One of the best Airbnb’s I’ve stayed in and hopefully I’ll be back.

Set on the edge of the small village Perranwell Station, within walking distance of a good pub and the branch line station, access to all areas of Cornwall is easy even if you don't choose to use a car. Falmouth and Truro are equally close and Tremough campus (Falmouth University) is 10 minutes' drive away, so perfect for visiting friends or offspring studying in the southwest.
Really easy to get to the coast - the beautiful Carrick Roads area is great for sailing, walking or just sitting on a beach. The north coast, with a different terrain and atmosphere is also very close, with St Agnes being only a 20 minute drive.
Lots of friendly pubs around (we'll give you list) as well as cafes, and some fabulous restaurants. The National Trust's Trelissick is 10 minutes' drive away - a beautiful garden and magical woodland walk.
We have a parking space in our drive for one car but if you come in separate cars there's street parking on the lane slightly up the hill from our house.
An excellent location if you don't drive as there's a good train service from the local railway station (12 minutes' walk) as well as regular buses.
