This is a beautiful property with lots of personality, equipped with everything we needed and well situated for visiting different places around Cornwall. We would definitely stay again!

Fabulous property, decorated with wonderful artefacts …..a true delight to see. Warm and very comfortable with everything you could ask for. Peaceful setting with ply the spud of birds. Loved the private courtyard where we enjoyed our breakfast. Would highly recommend this gem.

What a beautiful property! A superb, historic building with the most wonderful and eclectic decor. Very comfortable, well equipped and so quiet. A real gem of a place to return to after a day's walking.

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at The Engine House! It was extremely easy to find and access, and we felt right at home after arriving late on Friday night. The house is a perfect set up and beautifully furnished to give a lovely character. It has a fully functioning kitchen and comfortable living space meaning we could spend a lot of time here catching up with family rather than having to eat out. The bathrooms were extremely clean, with no signs of mould or limescale indicating how well looked after the property is. Overall the four of us that stayed agreed this was a 5 star rating and that we’d definitely choose to stay here again.
