This new home, a couple streets up from Waterbury's active Main St, is equipped and convenient. You'll have relaxing front and back porches, a cozy living room, a huge whiteboard, games, energy efficient appliances and spacious bedrooms. You'll find many homey touches and conveniences, and the location can't be beat. Enjoy your choice of outdoor play adventures; skiing, biking, hiking, disc golf, maybe throw in some Ben & Jerry's, then head downtown for some of the best dining around. The property is tucked in between several houses and is walking distance to all the best restaurants and shops in town. Although we keep things pretty simple, we live here part time so you'll feel a homeyness you don't always get with rentals. We welcome you to play with whatever you find (Thinking Putty anybody?!), and really sink. All the appliances are energy efficient as well as the heating and cooling system. Fresh air is being circulated throughout the home to help your allergies, and a garden to help your soul ;). In the winter, we have aesthetically pleasing electric fireplaces to help your soul. (And ski mountains.)

From start to finish, April was a great host. We had a great time, her house is beautiful and cozy, tucked away in a quiet little corner that’s also less than 5 minutes to town. She had great recommendations for places to go and things to do, and was so easy to get a hold of. We will definitely be back!

My family and I really loved our time at April’s house. The house was very clean and it has everything we needed. The fresh flowers when we arrived were a very nice touch. I wish we were staying for a few more days. The beds were comfortable . The weather was cold outside, but inside was just right with the heaters and all the blankets. Thanks April!

What a wonderful, cozy, homey place! My parents, my boyfriend, and I were in town for a few nights for a wedding, and everything was great for all of us. Clean, comfy, and perfect temperature. The host even sent over a friend with an iron when I asked if there might be one to fix up my dress for the party. Many thanks!

Very convenient location! Being walking distance to all the restaurants in downtown Waterbury was incredibly convenient. April was very nice and super communicative. I would definitely stay there again.

Do you want to be walking distance to one of the quaintest, sweetest, coolest downtowns in America?! Then this is it for you! The home is tucked between several homes, it's a super safe spot (we actually didn't have a lock on our door until we started renting it out). The elementary school is a street up if you want to go kick the soccer ball around or play on the playground.
Then a street down is Main St. Well, kind of. There is a street called Bidwell Lane. It's half parking lot and half a street. That's in between and you can find Stowe St Cafe and Salt and Rind there. To get to Main St you can go left or right out of the driveway and walk a couple of minutes, then turn downhill. If you go left out of the driveway you'll hit BlackCap Coffee, if you go right you'll hit Stowe St. There are some sneaky shortcuts, but basically the house is directly uphill from downtown Waterbury. If you like to run, you'd hit downtown in 30 seconds.

So much is walkable. I'll leave a binder with info and also send you local recommendations before your arrival. You park right at the home. There is space for three cars, four if you want to get crazy.
