Welcome to the Blue Oyster at Vineyard Grove! Our unique cottage is located in the heart of Irvington, a short walk or bike ride (4 bikes for your use!) to wonderful restaurants, shopping, and 1.5 miles from the Tides Inn. Relax on the front porch to enjoy the views of the meadow, or on the screened back porch overlooking Carter's Creek. You have access to our community pool (seasonally), kayak dock (2 kayaks for your use!) & nature trails for exploring. Getaway from it all at Blue Oyster! Blue Oyster is a wonderful space for you to enjoy. The main level has an open concept complete with a living space with gas fireplace, dining space and kitchen area. The kitchen has been remodeled with brand new cabinetry, quartz countertops, and new appliances. The primary bedroom and bathroom are located on the upper level, with 2 secondary bedrooms on the lower level, each with their own bath. There is a back entrance off one of the lower bedrooms which leads out to a stone patio and outdoor shower.

We had a wonderful 2 night's stay at Blue Oyster celebrating a relatives 80th birthday. The house is adorable and just as pictured and described. It was super clean and had everything you could need. There was plenty of room for the 4 of us. It's in a great location with a couple wonderful restaurants under a mile and a half away. It is a very quiet and peaceful setting but within walking distance there is a coffee and lunch spot and a couple shops. I would highly recommend staying here and would love to go back in warmer weather and be able to use the pool, bikes and kayaks that are available.
This is more adorable in person, very well appointed and comfortable, and the hosts were accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend!
My husband and I stayed at Blue Oyster for a weekend getaway from Northern Virginia. It was the perfect place to stay! We had everything we needed and more. The house was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. The owners thought of everything. We especially liked the relaxing fireplace. The restaurant recommendations were spot-on, and Camp Irvington was a convenient and fun place to end the night! We would definitely stay there again!

Vineyard Grove is an adorable private community within Irvington, Virginia. Walk to "CAMP Irvington" for gourmet snacks, beverages, live music and DIY firepits. Vineyard Grove has a seasonal community pool for hours of fun, walking paths galore, and a kayak dock with 2 kayaks for your use. Walk or bike to great restaurants, shops, and other attractions. Very close to the Tides Inn (1.5 miles) and Compass Entertainment Complex (2 miles) which features a restaurant, arcade, 6 movie theaters, ropes course, mini-golf, batting cages, go-carts, and more. Short drives to area beaches, neighboring towns to explore, and all the Northern Neck has to offer!
Private Parking in front of home for up to 3 cars. Vineyard Grove is a wonderful neighborhood for walking and biking! Multiple restaurants and shopping within minutes!
