Welcome to our home on the beautiful coast of north Skye, with stunning sea views over The Minch to one side and the Trotternish hills to the other. Rest after your busy day in this private double bedroom and then enjoy the self-serviced breakfast in the guest lounge downstairs. During the rainy days make yourself at home with a cup of tea, good book and a fire. Please note that the bathroom is shared and there is no guest access to the kitchen. This private room in 1st floor is equipped with a double bed, storage for your clothes, sink and a beautiful sea view to one side and the Trotternish ridge to the other. Please note that the room is accessed by stair so it’s not suitable for guests with mobility issues. Bathroom with a walk-in shower is shared. There is shower gel, shampoo and conditioner provided. Have a tea and coffee in the guest lounge and watch the waves crushing on the shore below the house, while being cozy by the fire place. During the rainy days this is a great place to enjoy our scottish themed book selection or watch TV. It’s also here where you will find your self-service breakfast. The lounge is shared with guests staying in our 2nd bedroom. In the front garden there is a seating area with a sea view. For everyone’s comfort we have quiet hours from 10pm to 7am. The room we stayed in was great, we loved sitting outside and enjoying the view of the sea so close by. Everything was super clean and the communication with Klara was perfect.

Klara’s place is incredibly beautiful and serene. The instructions were easy to follow and we found the place easily and the room was comfortable and we had everything we needed. We loved being right by the water and seeing Bobby and little bunnies & sheep in the surrounding countryside. We would definitely return and would stay longer than one night!
Klara ist stets erreichbar, gibt umgehend Antwort. Das Zuhause war mit viel Liebe eingerichtet, direkt bei den Klippen, umgeben von Feldern mit Schafen und Kaninchen. Es gibt einen schönen Spazierweg den Klippen enlang. Das Frühstück aus Früchten, Granola, Milch, Toast, Käse Nespresso Kaffee, Tee etc. war ab 7 Uhr bereit, so konnten wir noch vor dem Touristenandrang viele Sehenswürdigkeiten besichtigen. Das einzige (wofür Klara nichts kann) ist, dass die meisten Restaurants mehrere Tage im Voraus reserviert werden müssen, und viele bereits um 18 Uhr schliessen. Auch der Take away MacKenzie in Staffin (Indisch) schloss um 18 Uhr, ist jedoch ausgesprochen empfehlenswert! Danke an Klara für die tolle Gastfreundschaft.

Set within the northernmost part of the breath-taking Isle of Skye, the house affords dramatic views over Trotternish hills to one side, and sea view to the other. It's a part of a traditional crofting village where sheep and cattle can be seen grazing all around.
During storms big waves can be watched from the bedroom and lounge windows, making the house an ideal hideaway while still being able to enjoy the dramatic scenery.
Many iconic Skye's landmarks are less than a 20 minutes drive from the house, including the Quiraing, Staffin Beach, Duntulm Castle or The Lookout Bothy at Rubha Hunish.
