Melinda is amazing and her home is exactly as advertised. She was so easy to contact, super nice and responsive. She was also flexible with late check out, with prior notice. The home is cozy, peaceful, lots of room for family and friends, and lots of amenities to keep entertained. Plus, it's close to anything you want to do in the Columbia area. The neighborhood is safe and the property is nice and private. We enjoyed fishing down by the river and drinking coffee in the mornings on the back porch. We even saw baby otters by the river. All great things about this place. Would highly recommend and would stay again.

This is a beautiful home on Broad River, location is peaceful. The house was a great size and very clean. Great downstairs area, large enough for the family to spread out and enjoy. We highly recommend this rental!

This house... Miss Melinda put a LOT of time, money, and love into this place. There is nothing like this in all of the Midlands. I have dreamed of staying at a house on the Broad River for many years (and houses on this river are extremely rare). On the cold and rainy day, we explored the downstairs area (which was so big you could just about get lost) where Miss Melinda even put out an impressive collection of children's toys just for my daughter. On the warmer day we explored the grounds and went on an adventure walk in the big field down by the river. My wife loved being in such a quiet secluded area surrounded by nature. Her favorite was waking up to the unparalleled view of the Broad River and watching the birds as she had her morning coffee. Making breakfast in the huge kitchen with the river as a backdrop was a real treat. This was the absolute perfect place for a staycation.  Miss Melinda was a wonderful host and got back to me within minutes whenever I had a question.

Amazing place and beautiful for my wedding weekend. Host stayed in touch and was always responsive with any needs. I would stay again in a heart beat!

This was a trip that was planned kind of last minute. I found out in November that the illness my mom was diagnosed with a year prior was progressing rapidly. By the week of Thanksgiving she was put in hospice care and no longer allowed to drive long distances which meant she could not come to our house for Christmas as she had for years prior (we live about 4 hours apart). So my husband and I started searching for accommodations close to her house to get the whole family together for what could possibly be the last Christmas my mom is here with us. Melinda was extremely kind and accommodating from the very first message I sent her. The house ended up being the perfect spot for 10 of us to gather and make memories. Of course my mom lives close by but the rest of us came from NC and VA. We all loved it so much that we talked about coming back again sometime in the future. Highly recommend for your next vacation or get away!!
