We had a great stay at the blue chair. The house was very nicely renovated since hurricane idalia. I would recommend for anyone that wants a quiet place to stay and fish at.

We have always loved sweet little, resilient Cedar key. This was our absolute favorite trip here. Kayaks were available and we put them to good use. Our weather was perfect and we paddled to the outer islands to explore their shorelines. Dolphins, ospreys, crabs, leaping mullets, lovely shells and clams. So much to experience! The home was a delight also! High-end kitchen appliances, cookware and china made our meals easy to prepare and serve. The well-stocked spice rack was fun to explore, as was the Nespresso machine! (Wow!) The deck furniture was plentiful and comfortable for us to curl up with a good book or a nap. The back street neighborhood of very quiet, but friendly, locals made us feel comfortable and safe. In our estimation, this rental was well worth the price.

We enjoyed our relaxing weekend at Blue Chair! Our host was extremely responsive when we told them that the AC wasn’t working properly. They came right out to fix it, and it cooled off immediately. Very clean, incredible amenities, close to everything, private deck was so nice! We will be back!!

Beautiful and peaceful. A mesmerizing view. The home had all the things you need for day to day needs in a home. The furniture and beds were comfortable. It was a hassle free experience. Home was very clean. Would definitely recommend to others and return myself.
