Great stay. Great communication. The place is in the boonies but I was given very specific directions, map included, and it made it so easy to find. There is no reception in the house. A couple spots around the yard. But that was the main reason for choosing this location. It’s so quiet and peaceful. There’s no stove but the little electric burner worked great to make stuff. And there’s a charcoal grill and fire pit. Ice cube trays are there to use. Which was great. I do suggest keeping the blinds closed during the day to keep the house cool but it doesn’t take long to cool it down if it does get hot (I was outside the majority of the day and wasn’t paying attention to the temp inside). There is a nice outside sitting area as well as an outside bar/table set up where it’s nice to eat dinner. There are board games as well. If you’re looking to unplug and have a rustic feel, paired with quiet and calm, this is your place. Communication was great and I’m looking forward to visiting again.

I loved my stay, it was the retreat we and our dogs needed. They got so much room to run and play and I got to enjoy the afternoon air outside. Thom was also very kind and helped us when our car’s battery failed. Loved the place and definitely recommend

The cabin was awesome! Huge fenced yard for our pups to enjoy. Nice and clean place that had everything we needed for a comfortable enjoyable stay at a great price.

I had a great stay at the cabin with my dog! I was looking for a peaceful place to get away for a few weeks to relax and disconnect while escaping the winter weather up north. I loved drinking my coffee on the porch every morning listening to the birds, reading and meditating while my dog relaxed in the yard. It was great exploring Ocala National Forest from hiking and swimming in nearby springs, to disc golfing in Ocala, and even going on the glass bottom boat in Silver Springs State Park. The cabin was the perfect home base for all of it. Everything was clean, space heaters and plenty of blankets kept me warm on some very frigid January nights, and Hope was responsive to all of my questions before arriving. The property was well lit which made me feel safe as a female traveling alone and the owner was very friendly and helpful upon check in. I would definitely stay here again and recommend if you're looking to get away!
