Our stay at Nature's Oblivion was lovely. We spent a whole week there -- reading, going for long walks among the coffee estates, and simply revelling in the view of the mountains, and the birdsong. It was the perfect digital and urban detox, and we felt very peaceful. Samartha and his parents are such nice people and they were very kind to us. Their dog, Bruno, became great friends with us and we played a fun dog-version of frisbee with him. The only -- tiny -- underside was the restaurant-like food prices for the simple, home fare we received, especially since we ate very little for most meals. But I suppose the general wellbeing we felt makes it worthwhile. We are certainly going back for another visit. We especially appreciated the way the peace of the surroundings seemed to relax us and recharge us for the return to the city. We slept better than we have slept anywhere for ages, probably for years, and it made us realise how deeply we miss the rural life...

I chose this place based on excellent reviews, but we encountered a few issues that could have been prevented: Power Backup: There were frequent power failures, even though there was a backup inverter which didn't work. It left us in the dark and dining by flashlight. Lack of Directions: G Maps doesn't accurately lead to the property. While Samarth helped us find it during the day, we got lost at night, causing a 2-hour delay. Improved signage would help. Cleanliness: We expected basic cleanliness, but the place had remnants from previous guests. Communication: The property is managed by Samarth and his family, who live nearby. With no network, contacting them was challenging, and we often had to wait. Network Booster: We discovered the network booster late into our stay and had to fix it ourselves. Better communication about such amenities would be helpful. Despite these issues, we enjoyed the place and home-cooked food. Addressing these concerns can make it much better :)

Our stay at samarth's place was very good. Hist and his family are very welcoming and warm. Food here is awesome which aunty cooks. The estate was very beautiful. Overall it was a serene experience!

The place was beautiful and road to the property was mesmerising however the place needs more veg options in food and better connectivity in terms of WiFi . If WiFi is installed somehow , which I know is extremely difficult to do at the location ,it will be a heaven for workation or vacation in general. Food that was provided was wholesome and delicious. Considering how remote the location is the prices are affordable and one would enjoy staying at the place .
