My family had an extended stay at Robert’s while we were hiking a 100 mile stretch of the Appalachian Trail. This house is perfectly situated for anyone looking to slack pack the AT in PA! The house was clean and comfortable for my family. We loved the large dining table and living room for family time. The best part was meeting the horses that came to live in the pastures. Robert took the time to introduce my almost three year old niece to them and she was over the moon excited! She is still talking about Enzo her new friend! We had one small hiccup but Robert took care of it right away. We would definitely stay here again if we were to return to this part of PA.

Robert was a great host with excellent communication. He reached out right away when he realized we were at the wrong location due to GPS not registering the new build. His home was spacious and cozy. Dog friendly which is a plus. The surroundings were peaceful although right next door is his workshop with multiple construction vehicles. Not a huge deal but did mess with the aesthetic a little- just something to note. The shop was quiet and during our weekend stay we saw no activity. The water pressure wasn't that great and the main bathroom shower is a lot higher than it seemed, so be careful coming out lol. Convenient location, pretty close to Blue Mountain Ski Resort which was the reason for our visit. All in all was a solid stay.

It was just the relaxing/private escape from the suburbs that we were looking for. Extremely happy with the dog friendly policy 🐾🐾

An excellent Airbnb, close enough to skiing and groceries, very quiet and comfortable, amazing setup for cooking, can't go wrong!
