Private room in a shared house In popular Northcote - great cafes, bars, cinemas and vibes as well as the quietness of this unique suburb, surrounded by lovely parklands perfect for picnics, walking and riding. We're 3 people living in this house. A fully functioning house and are up early most days. We often host our friends and look forward to hosting you but will respect your space. The home is comfortably styled for a relaxing homely stay. the house has 4 bedrooms in total, the 3 of us permanent housemates all have our own separate rooms, all rooms including yours are situated together at the front of the house. There is heating and cooling throughout the communal areas and fans in room. Your room is at the front of the house, windows looking out to the front yard/street providing sunshine and light throughout the day. The room has floorboards, is fully furnished with a queen size bed, desk, couch, clothes rack and a TV. We will provide you with fresh linen; bed sheets, pillow cases, quilt cover and bath towels for your stay. Your room will have everything you need to be comfortable in your own private space. You will have full access to the rest of the house which includes, a shared bathroom (with toilet, shower and sink), kitchen, a laundry which includes washing machine and dryer and a separate toilet all of which you can use during your stay. A living room with a big comfy couch, record player, and large 90 inch projector screen with apple TV and you will have access to our various paid subscriptions including; Netflix, Stan, Disney and other apps. You will have full access to our WIFI also. We have a sun room which has our dining table and is often where you will find us if we're working from home (we tend to work 3 days in the office and 2 at home, mon-fri). We have a large backyard with an outdoor seating area; vegie patch and even a fully functioning bee hive (no honey as yet). There is easy on street parking and you can walk to tram and two train stations (Northcote and Westgarth) Us: 2 females and one male working in furniture, marketing and social work - aged 27-32. We have lived together for 2 years and have been friends for many more. Our house is owned by one of our sisters therefore making Airbnb possible. We're a fully functioning household, we work during the week and enjoy to socialize outside of this time, this includes having our partners over (Sometimes staying for a few nights) and hosting friends for dinners. You’re welcome to enjoy the space but strictly no overnight guests or visitors. This is due to strict airbnb policies and insurances which do not protect us from anyone additional to the 1 approved airbnb guest. We have lived in the area for a long time and have collectively travelled a lot so are very keen to welcome you to our home and happy to offer suggestions where helpful. We will respect your space and the house is mostly a space we enjoy to relax and unwind in. Koi - is our beloved labrador who we adopted a year ago, he is a big gentle lab and is part of the home. We do often foster puppies so you may luck out and have one or two here for your stay, although we will try to time our fosters outside of our hosting. That being said, if you do have your own fur baby (dog) that you would like to join you on your stay, let us know and we may be able to accommodate for an additional fee - they will need to sleep in our comfortable sunroom with our friendly Koi though as we do not have dogs in our bedrooms. We’re a friendly and social bunch but have strict rules around airbnb guests due to insurances. Only guests are permitted to stay at the home during the stay. And no overnight guests/partners/friends or visitors unless arranged LGBTIQA+ friendly
