The Little Lodge on the Wolds is the annex to our family home, Boulton House. Originally an old cattle byre, it provides everything you might need for a countryside bolt hole, a base for visiting nearby York or the beautiful East Coast beaches. Come and make yourselves at home in our well equipped and super comfortable lodge. Relax in the gorgeous garden and enjoy the view of Garrowby Hill. Accessible yet private, we are lucky enough to be on a bus route into York or nearby Pocklington. Our annex has 2 bedrooms. One at the front of the property contains a super comfortable super-king double bed and a single bed, with an additional pull out single trundle bed beneath if required, to sleep up to four people in this room. The bedroom has a wall mounted smart TV, wardrobe and dressing table. The 2nd bedroom is at the back of the property with twin single beds, wardrobe and a stunning view over the shared garden and across to the Yorkshire Wolds and Garrowby Hill. The kitchen is large with an extendable table and six chairs, smart TV with DVD player, large fridge, gas range cooker, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine and mini-dishwasher. The bathroom has a shower and a bath, complimentary Faith in Nature toiletries and a bath and hand towel each. There is a large living room with electric reclining armchairs, a sofa and smart TV. There is a record player and records and a full bookcase of books. Patio doors provide access outside with privacy film applied. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer in the hallway cupboard. We have a dedicated off road parking spot for up to 2 cars and an electric car charging point available at an additional cost dependant on usage. The garden is a delight and changes seasonally, there is always something to look at. A small beck runs through the garden and can be full in the winter or totally dry in the summer. Please note: a starter pack of toilet rolls, coffee pods, dishwasher tablets etc are provided but depending on the length of your stay you may wish to stock up with more supplies yourself. - the three TVs are smart TVs with all the latest apps you can use your own log ins with but there is no Live TV connection.
