Really cosy cottage in a quiet location with easy access to York. Everything we needed for a short stay, we felt right at home. Really responsive and thoughtful host, we appreciated the lovely welcome pack. No hesitation in recommending.

Karen was an amazing host and responded incredibly quickly to all questions. The cottage was absolutely wonderful, looked exactly like the pictures and was amazingly cozy… definitely felt like a lovely retreat rather than staying in ‘just another house’. The decoration and aesthetic of the interior was lovely and quirky. TVs in both bedrooms and living room. Karen greeted us and said goodbye when we left and encouraged us not to rush which is lovely as sometimes having to leave early is quite stressful. Would recommend this place to anyone and will definitely return in the future. The only downside is we didn’t stay for longer as it was wonderful. Thank you Karen :)

We had a lovely stay at Karen’s place. It looked just like the photos and was very cozy. The kids loved drawing on the chalkboard wall. The place was spotlessly clean and Karen was very friendly and made us feel at home.
