Graham was a warm welcoming host, went over and beyond to make us feel welcome. Before the visit there was good communication to help with parking and access to the property. And Graham was just a phone call away if we ever needed him. The hamper and the drinks left in the fridge were a lovely touch. The house was decorated and cleaned to a very high standard. Graham and Jane have a great eye for detail and have renovated the house beautifully. It felt warm and cosy, really was a home away from home. It was in the perfect location for visiting York, just hopped on the bus into the city. Would really recommend the bakery over the road for breakfast.

Had a wonderful weekend at Riverview. The cottage is so homely, well decorated and extremely clean. Graham was great throughout the booking process, and made us feel very welcome on check in. The location is perfect, we got a bus into York from right outside. There looked like lots of pubs/eateries in Stamford Bridge that I wish we’d had time to visit - maybe next time!

We had a wonderful few days at Riverview. The house has been beautifully decorated and is extremely well equipped. Graham is a fantastic host - I think we could have asked for the moon and he would have tried to oblige. The property was spotlessly clean (we probably could have eaten off the floor!) and there were plenty of extra towels available, plus slippers, shower mitts etc. The welcome basket and the provisions in the fridge were very gratefully received. We would definitely come again.

By far the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in! The house is fantastic, so clean and perfectly positioned to explore Yorkshire. The personal touches added really made the stay feel special, especially for our children. Would not hesitate to recommend.
