Lovely property, perfect for our weekend away

Victoria was a great host, responsive and helpful at all times. The family enjoyed their stay and we would no doubt book again when we visit Yorkshire again.

We have just returned from a long weekend at Holly Tree Cottage and it was just lovely. We were a party of two couples and our children (2x 4 year olds and 2x 1 year olds). The house was spotlessly clean on our arrival and exactly as described. The rooms were all beautifully presented and well thought out. We finally got to use the hot tub on our final night, thanks to the children finally playing ball and going to sleep when we wanted them to!! It was so lush and just the perfect addition to an already beautiful home. We didn’t need any help with anything during our stay, but in the lead up when I had messaged Victoria she was always very responsive. If we were to find fault in this home it would only be that there aren’t any stair gates, nor covers on any plug sockets which would have made our trip a little safer with the toddlers. But this aside, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Thank you for a lovely weekend!

Great stay at Victoria’s place, we only used it as a base whilst visiting for a wedding so didn’t spend much time there but it was perfect. The house had everything you needed, nice and clean with the added bonus of a hot tub! Thank you!

Beautiful house and area ,immaculately clean for our arrival , the decor made the house feel at home. The location is handy as closeby to York city centre and lots of places available to visit. However, as this was a hot tub getaway it would have been nice to have a few extra towels so we had some to use for the hot tub and some for our showers ,although I appreciate we could have brought our own. Upon our arrival the arm of the sofa appeared to be damaged I had messaged Victoria to inform her of this as we did not want her to assume this was caused by us, I am yet to receive a response to my message. Overall we had a great time and we really enjoyed staying here , thank you.
