In the heart of the renowned Finger Lakes wine trail, lies Caledonian Farms. A working orchard of cherries, apples and peaches along with a vineyard and farm stand. Walk to wineries and restaurants . Watch the sunset over the hills of Seneca Lake. Minutes to Watkins Glen and Trumansburg! Close to all of the best parts of NY 414. The Highland Hideaway is a on the lake side of the farmhouse. it is cozy and cute and has a great kitchen. There is a fenced in yard and an outdoor patio and enclosed sitting porch. Walk though the acres of cherries and grapes and enjoy your home in the heart of Finger Lakes wine country! Inside there is a big kitchen a bedroom with a queen. A bathroom and a living room and dining area. There is a great little enclosed porch with ample seating and gathering space.

We really enjoyed our weekend stay! Dave was super helpful throughout our trip. It’s a spacious, beautiful property, and a solid location. We appreciated all the recommendations, and how easy it was to get everywhere. Highly recommend.
Sadly, our stay had to be cancelled due to an unforeseen problem immediately after check in, but Dave was very responsive and helpful. We hope to stay at his place in the future.
Dave’s space is absolutely wonderful and we felt right at home while staying for the weekend! We love how close the location is to everything we could possibly need or want to do. Dave also provided a list of recommendations of local places to try, which we found to be thorough and super helpful. The house is spacious, clean, and comfortable! It had everything we could need during our stay, and we wish we could have stayed longer! Dave is a very thoughtful host, and very accommodating to guests! Thank you so much for everything, we would love to stay here again!
Perfect Stay for a couple of duck hunters from Massachusetts, My husband and I were warm and toasty and extremely comfortable in between hunts. Great kitchen, comfortable furniture, plenty of room to spread out! Our Dogs absolutely loved the fenced in yard! Clean, cozy and a great selection of breweries and yummy food minutes away! Highly recommend.
Hidden gem. No wonder there were so many 5 star ratings. Private, clean, centrally located between towns at both ends of the lake and right in the middle of the eastern side of the wine trail as well as hiking trails.

Mostly, you will find yourself needing a vehicle. but there are four wineries less than a 5 minute walk.
