Exactly what we wanted for a reunion with old friends - a nice quiet, peaceful spot to relax and warm up after a few autumn walks. The walks we did were all a drive away from the place, but that was as expected. Not far from Haydon bridge town itself which has some lovely spots. Very helpful host too, responsive and helpful! Definitely recommended!

We used Jackie's place as a base flr doing the Hadrian's Wall 1/2 marathon and it was the perfect location for that. It was nice and close to Hexham for visiting family. The surroundings of the house were breathtakingly beautiful - gorgeous sun rises and clear star filled skies at night. The house was so cosy, with a nice fire lit for us arriving. The beds were super comfortable and every room was clean and nicely decorated. The living room conservatory was perfect for lovely family meals. We cant wait to return in future.

The accommodation was beautiful with spectacular views all over the countryside. Had everything you wanted and of top class quality, especially the bedding and crockery. Even though the weather was extremely poor and rainy it didn’t matter as the accommodation was lovely to stay in whilst in rained outside. Ideal location for going out to different areas for walking, very dog friendly.
