This holiday bungalow is situated in the coastal town of Dawlish, within the grounds of the owners home. Dawlish Countryside Park is located opposite the site entrance. A short distance (2.1 mile) or (20 minute walk or 6 minute drive) from the blue flag beach and nature reserve at Dawlish Warren. A 30 minute drive from the cathedral city of Exeter. Sainsburys a few minutes away. Free parking and WiFi. The bungalow is a great base to explore the whole coastline from Exeter down to Brixham ,there is storage as you come in the entrance for your extras like bikes,body boards and equipment you need for your holiday due to the nature of the site being adults only consisting of owners house two holiday cottages and a small members only 5 pitch campsite,so perfect for coming home to knowing you can enjoy the quiet that this site offers

Amanda was an amazing host, she sent lots of local info and links to places of interest, she was extremely flexible and very prompt with replying to messages. overall 10/10 I will be recommending Lockwood Cottages to friends and family and we will definitely return. Thank you Amanda ❤️
Very comfortable bungalow, good amenities. Amanda replied to my questions very quickly. I can’t comment on things to do as we only stayed a couple of days for a funeral. However as a place to stay, would recommend
We've just returned from a fabulous 4 days at Lockwood Bungalow. The bungalow was well equipped and more spacious than I expected. the dressing room off of the main bedroom was great for storage, although there was plenty of storage in the twin bedroom. The bungalow is in a private spot not overlooked with a lovely little garden, it had everything we needed for a family of 4 and a dog! Amanda was a fabulous host, she was quick to reply to all of my questions and gave us loads of local things to do, only trouble was we ran out of time :-) the country park opposite was perfect for the dog and is only a 20 min walk into Dawlish warren to the beach/amusements etc and Sainsburys is only 2 mins down the road. Highlights for us were the beach which is dog friendly in places all year round and crab fishing in beautiful Teignmouth. Our fave place to eat was the Mount Pleasant, which is only a short drive away. Thank you Amanda for lovely stay, we will be back :-)

we are located across from Dawlish country park which has 64 acres of spectacular scenery and great for dog walking ,walking to the beach is 25 min.there is great transport links via train and bus
parking is outside the property,we do not accept commercial vans on site ,we have a bus stop which is a 5 min walk and this goes to Exeter one way and the coast line from Dawlish ,newton abbot ,Teignmouth,Shaldon.Torquay and Paignton
the train station is in Dawlish town or Dawlish warren the great western brunnel railway runs the whole of the coast and is a real treat
we are located on the A379 so not far from anywhere ,we have a Sainsburys superstore just 2 mins away by car
