Great view from the yard and such a peaceful lake with great cat fishing off the dock. Only thing that I wasn’t happy with was he had people knocking at the door asking to go inside to fix or see things which wasn’t ok with me at all! I unfortunately didn’t know they let someone in the house while I was kayaking and my uncle had to take time from his relaxing trip to watch the person inside since all our things were inside not to mention the kids. Then we actually had someone unlock the door and try to enter but good thing we had the second lock on. Then! A couple people came into the yard asking to fix and look at things when we didn’t answer the front door. It was definitely a lot of entering the home and taking away from my vacation that I wasn’t prepared for or even told before renting. Honestly I would stay there for the lake but wouldn’t stay there if u we’re just women alone with kids since u have no idea who will be trying to get inside.

Staying at Kyles getaway was the best experience we’ve had with Airbnb yet! The location of the house was centrally located for all of our activities that we had planned out. Kyle was extremely responsive and knowledgeable of all local amenities and had plenty of great recommendations for local attractions. I cannot recommend this place enough. We travel to lake county 5 to 6 times a year and we look forward to booking with them going forward. Kyle allowed us to bring our small dog and even filled the fridge with some snacks for the family. If you were looking for the perfect weekend getaway look no further!!!!

Great place for our couples weekend get away to celebrate early Father’s Day with our fishermen. Lol. Beautiful, cozy home and we were able to leave the boat on the water right on the dock. Great amenities! We love the swing overlooking the water, both rooms also overlooked the water. Kyle was very friendly and approachable. Box of chocolates that was there when we arrived was a nice surprise and he bought us a box of donuts for breakfast on our last day. Thanks again Kyle! Only minor cons: Need more lighting in the back patio because we BBQ’d sooo late but the fireplace helped! The driveway is really steep but Kyle is working to put a ramp already. We highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.
