Lovely cottage, very peaceful, in a quiet village, close to all the local places to visit, ideal to visit Rye, Hastings and the local beaches. Excellent communication with the hosts and very clean airbnb. I’d stay there again!

My family and I had a wonderful weekend at Paul and Wendy’s house. The house itself was easy to find, perfect for parking and unloading, brilliantly well appointed and equipped and tastefully decorated. On Saturday morning we took a short stroll to the local butchers for sausages and eggs which accompanied the bread, milk etc that welcomed us in the house. Our two boys loved the boat themed bedroom and all the beds were super comfy! The bathroom was spotless and had great water pressure. We can’t wait to come back in warmer weather and enjoy the garden. Thank you so much for having us!

Paul’s cottage is delightful, very comfortable and quite spacious with the three upstairs bedrooms. Lovely log fire, cosy and well appointed. Large bathroom, plenty of storage spaces as we had travelled from Australia and had a pile of luggage. Paul and Wendy made us very welcome and kindly helped us with a few issues that had arisen suddenly. The village itself is beautiful, with two great pubs, The Two Sawyers ( our favourite) and The Royal Oak, which are welcoming and serve good food.

Highly recommend, the attention to detail was outstanding. We had 3 tall guests who banged their heads a couple of times lol but beautiful cottage and everything you could possibly need and more like the logs for fire and flannels in bathroom etc. lovely comfortable beds and clean bedding. Very warm inside too. Thank you both for a lovely stay
