Brian and Claudia were absolutely wonderful throughout our stay. I appreciated the banter back and forth on 1 Apr when the cable was acting up a bit. Great to know that a human connection can exist! We were also very pleased by the little things we found such as the scavenger hunt for guests, the super cool fire pit on the back porch for relaxing at night, the comfortable front porch with jacuzzi and grill for relaxing, and the simplistic yet cozy atmosphere in their cabin. We may stay with them again, or may end up being neighbors! We fell in love with Bent Tree and all it has to offer from the horseback riding, to the lake and activities on the beach area, the trails for hiking, golf and amazing clubhouse/restaurant, and the tennis courts with Bob as the host all really top notch. Do not miss out on an opportunity to stay in Brian and Claudia's retreat in Bent Tree!

The main issue we had while there was that the drawers were dirty. Dead bugs and hair in with the silverware. The rest of the house was clean. The house is cute and nice, however, it does need some upkeep. One of the outside balconies off an upstairs bedroom had rotten wood and a door that was very difficult to lock. Once we unlocked the door it took 5 minutes messing with the lock to get it locked again. We let the owners know and they stated they were aware of the issue and it was scheduled to be fixed soon. There was a leak under the kitchen sink. We had some gnats in the kitchen and saw a couple of spiders (one in bed with my daughter). The owners were very responsive and had someone come and spray the next day .

The cabin was very clean and secluded. The kitchen was well-stocked, which was appreciated. the hosts were so accommodating and responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed our time.

Exactly as pictured. Beautiful mountain cabin. Was perfect for our family stay. Jasper has some amazing local food spots, wineries, antique shopping. Town is close by once you are out of the community. We came to town for our son’s college baseball tournament. The only downfall for us was the drive into the gated community to the cabin. We always were coming home in the dark, and the curvy, steep road was exhausting most nights. On e you’re in, you’re in!! Otherwise, perfect views, perfectly set cabin.
