The property is large and beautiful. It’s very serene. The houses are a bit small but adequate and well-maintained. The man cave is the perfect spot for all to hang out, relax and chat. My only gripe is that I felt like I was constantly being watched because the camera kept turning on. Other than that we enjoyed my stay.

This is a beautiful property and we enjoyed our stay for the most part. The big issues were: 1. The pack n play that was supposed to be at the property was not there. We had to go and buy one. The host reimbursed us, which was nice, but I would have rather had one there as promised. 2. There was a mouse in the bathroom in the Man Cave building. 3. The cleaning people showed up 3 hours early on our check out day. They lurked in their car in the driveway just waiting for us to leave. It was pretty creepy. 4. The dryer in one building didn't work, but we could use the dryer in the other building. 5. The coffee maker in one building didn't work, but we could use the coffee maker in the other building. The pros were: 1. The property itself is beautiful. There is a little stream that runs through it that was so pleasant. The location is quite serene and peaceful. 2. The quality of everything was very nice. The appliances were newer and the furniture was nice.

Ran into an issue with one of the locks not working so we were unable to get back into the home for a bit of time. Pull out couches were a bit unclean. Other than that the stay was great and the host always responded in a timely manner.

We really enjoyed our stay at Barefoot. When we arrived, the first thing we noticed were the broken pool sticks. We messaged the host right away and they came a few hours later with brand new ones. The host is very responsive. We’d recommend this place to anyone staying in the area.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The home is as described and clean. As mentioned, the stairs in the larger house are incredibly steep and we did not even use the area because of this. ALSO, this rental company does require either a refundable deposit or travel insurance before staying - we purchased the travel insurance. After checkout I was notified by the insurance a claim was placed. I asked the management and was told the cleaning staff found two broken pool cues after we left. We did not use any of the games while we were there and did not break anything. They assured me cleaners check all items after guests and proceeded to tell me “accidents happen” as if we were in fact at fault. Clearly they dont check after each guest or it would have been noted. For future guests just ensure you check all items upon check in so you don’t get blamed for broken items you did not break. Also they never told me about the claim - professional thing to do is to let people know if a claim is opened.
