a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the sunset from the deck! We loved the area and would like to come back again. The house had everything we needed and we appreciated the coffee supplies and recommendations.

I wish I could give Glen more than a 5 star rating. His place was absolutely perfect. So clean and cozy. He had everything extra you could think in case you forgot something. The view was beyond amazing. To wake up and have that lake view was heavenly. Glen was so kind to make sure we got checked in ok and also that our stay was going well. We felt very welcomed. Can’t wait to come back!! Thanks for opening your home to our family.

The Lake Retreat house was perfect for our week of relaxation. The house came with all the comforts of home plus vacation. The hosts were responsive to our inquiries. We had a very nice time in the house and at the lake! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and prepare meals. Everything was very clean. We would love to go back!!

This house was just what we needed. The view was stunning. We looked forward to getting up early to have have coffee on the deck while watching hummingbirds, ducks and bald eagles swoop about. Temps were in the 90s but the AC worked well and the cool lake swims with the waterlilies beat the heat. Swimming was a definite highlight for me and my young nephew! And the evening on the beach with a chiminea fire, making s’mores as the stars popped out. The kitchen was well stocked for our foodies to prepare meals. The kids bunk was a hit. I was concerned about residents living in the lower level but it wasn’t an issue at all. They were friendly and quiet. We appreciated the hosts’ communication and availability. Amy and Glen dealt with our requests promptly. The location was close to shopping and sights but we enjoyed staying at the house to chat and play games around the big table and watching the sunset. I highly recommend this spot for your next getaway!
