A regular bus service to Ilfracombe, Barnstaple & Woolacombe Beach stops just outside the park which has its own laundrette & a developing shop. Adjacent, The Depot restaurant offers all-day dining. Upon entering 54 Meadow View, the hallway opens into an open plan living/dining/kitchen space, enjoying extensive views over the surrounding countryside & coast. The well equipped kitchen provides for all your needs with fridge/freezer, gas hob & electric oven, microwave, coffee maker & dish-washer. After sharing a meal round the six seater dining table, snuggle up on sofas to watch films on the Smart TV. The three bedrooms offer flexibility for families or friends: two twins, & one double with en-suite shower. The family bathroom is equipped with shower over bath & WC. Towels and linen are provided. Decking outside the lodge houses garden furniture to enjoy alfresco dining & one car parking space is provided next to the lodge. Dogs are welcome on request only and charges may apply. Very nice place. Close to Ilfracombe and the Exmoor national park area. Would recommend
Had a lovely 2 night stay. The lodge was bigger than expected and very nicely decorated with little touches like flowers and a little Paddington bear Teddy which the kids loved. Just a couple of minor issues (e.g. no coffee - either pods for the machine provided or instant) but these didn't ruin our stay. The food at the neighbouring Depot restaurant was AMAZING. Def worth a visit!
Property was actually better than photos, lovely size, proper beds in second and third bedrooms, was a lovely value for money stay.
What a great find! Great price for what was a very comfortable and well-appointed property close to Ilfracombe and beyond. Somewhere that willingly takes dogs is always a bonus. Worked well all round for a party of four adults and three dogs. And the pub next door does a fantastic Sunday roast! We will certainly be staying again.
We very much enjoyed our stay the space was open and well decorated and had everything we needed Valued the games and puzzles however many had bits missing !! Setting was lovely really well situated for all the areas we needed to visit We will be back
