Manton is set on the edge of Rutland Water which has a fantastic range of facilities easily accessible. There are several car parks positioned around the water, each having their own unique identity, whether it be sailing and water sports, fishing, cycle hire, mini golf, the Aqua Park, outside gym, Park Run, open water swimming (booked sessions only), nature reserve, bird watching, walking or just enjoying the bbq areas and food offerings. There are many other wonderful walks in the area and the local towns are steeped in history and interest as well as being excellent shopping destinations with wonderful eateries.

Guests have dedicated parking on our drive and Manton is equidistant between Uppingham and Oakham, each being only 3 miles away. The wonderful town of Stamford is only 10 miles away. The nearest train station is at Oakham and there is a limited day time bus service from Oakham to Corby which calls in at Manton. If you are coming by train, we may be able to pick you up and drop you off, depending on timings and our availability. Our village pub which serves food is just a stroll away.
