Beautiful lakefront location with paddle board, kayaks, bikes, hammocks, and a canoe. The water was clear and we enjoyed seeing loons and bald eagles.

The Gathering Place is a wonderful lake house! The bedrooms are private and the beds are soooo comfortable. Thank goodness for the a/c!! There are water toys, chairs, a fire pit right next to the water and an outdoor dining table and chairs. The water is so clear! Yes, the water is shallow for quite a distance, it was great for swimming and snorkeling. We took the kayaks up the river which was beautiful! While there I had a couple of questions and Nancy was extremely responsive! The washer/dryer were a total bonus!! Everything worked fine. We had a blast!!! There is a wonderful rail/trail very close for walking or biking. We are definitely going back next year!

Nancy has a son that we communicated with and he was super responsive and extremely flexible. We cannot express our gratitude anymore with the flexibility of check in and checkout and even changing the dates! We will always remember and treasure this location due to us getting engaged here! Thank you for hosting us and we will be sure to come back.

10/10 perfect!!! We had an incredible week. The cottage was great. Plenty of room for our family of 5. The outdoor amenities were as amazing as the view. It’s right on the lake to swim, fish, boat, kayak and paddle board (all of which Nancy has available for use). The grassy yard was great to have for lawn games and also for the hammock!! Thank you so much for the perfect vacation house!!!
