We hosted a family gathering with our kids and grandkids. Everything fit our family to a T: the vibe, the secluded location, the big dock for hanging out, the water toys (it was our 1st time paddleboarding and we had a blast!). My husband and I arrived with our puppy the day before our family to celebrate our anniversary. It was rainy and chilly, but Aimee had stacked wood by the wood stove, and it didn't take long to have a crackling fire. It was so peaceful, looking out over the misty water, drinking a cocktail, listening to the rain and gentle waves. The rest of the weekend we lucked out with sunny fall weather and stayed outside as much as possible. During the chilly mornings and evenings, we all enjoyed relaxing in the living room, looking out over the lake, a fire in the wood stove to keep us cozy. Board games kept everyone entertained, Trivial Pursuit was a big hit! Everything reminded us of our own childhoods with family at the lake. We can't thank you enough, Aimee!

The location was perfect. Plenty of beach towels, blankets. Enjoyed use of kayak and paddle board. Kitchen well equipped. Could have used a flashlight for dog walking in dark, but it was a great place for swimming and water activities.

This was exactly the trip we were hoping for - amazing private access to the lake, perfect weather, a location close to New London restaurants/cafes/shops, and incredibly friendly hosts! We’re already planning our trip back for next year!
