Peaceful rest stop/homey stay while on business or exploring - best suited for day-job professionals or out-of-area visitors. Guest bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and private entry in a quiet, safe area close to I-80, I-780, and routes to Wine Country. Selections of tea, an electric kettle, French press, plates & utensils, a Roku TV, mini-fridge, microwave plus the comfort of a soft bathrobe - and more... Easy check-in, fast Wi-Fi, simple and clean. Please check Other Details for best fit. The guest bedroom where you would stay shares some common walls with the rest of the house. It is fully separate and private, but it is also a part of the house where human and feline hosts go about their daily lives. The property is fully fenced, so the door of your private room is secure at the back of the house. One gets to the private entrance to the guest room first through the gate into the property, then across the side yard, and finally through the deck at the back of the house. The entrance is a French door secured with a smart lock. Please note that there are two short flights of steps to reach the room entrance - 3 steps down to the back yard and then 5 steps up to the French door. The property also houses a detached studio with some separate private space of its own. The side yard is a shared space for the main house and the studio.

I have stayed here three times now it is my favorite spot. Alla is very gracious host and her place is always so welcoming and comfortable.

Really loved the place which reminded us of our beloved parents (our childhood home) we had in the greater Sacramento region (Arden Park). I wanted to recommend anyone to use Alla's amazing home to AirBnb'd whenever anyone stops in Vallejo, CA or within the northern S.F. Bay Area/the southern Wine Country region (Napa Valley & Sonoma Valley) with Northern California's beautiful Mediterranean climate with evergreen rolling hills & greenest mountains in both directions. I was able to see the bay with fog rolling onto the bay (usually every late afternoon) as well as it went back to the ocean the next morning (usually every late morning). This beautiful & safe neighborhood reminds me so much of our childhood home as well as some spots within the greater European countries. My sister and I were driving down from a long road trip and needed somewhere safe and quiet to rest for the night . Alla place was perfect ! very quiet & safe location , easy to access . warm water , heater for the room . Its 30 minutes away from down town san francisco , If you’re looking for a longer stay this place might not be suitable for your needs . But definitely a great place if you’re just looking for somewhere to sleep for the night !
Alla was a wonderful host in everyway and her unit is one of the best value in Vallejo. Booked for my wife who is a 5 foot 100lb. She felt safe and right at home during her entire stay.

This is a nice residential neighborhood with diverse architectural styles, soft hilly landscape, and magnificent tall pine and fir trees dispersed here and there. It is relatively safe, but reasonable caution must be given to safety like everywhere in the Bay Area. It is advised not to leave belongings in the car and keep the gates and doors closed/locked.
The best way to go around is by car. Public transportation is limited. Downtown Napa is 30 mins drive; Sonoma Valley is 40-50 mins drive; Marin County from 30 mins drive, ocean 40-50 mins drive, San Francisco is 40-50 mins drive depending on the traffic and 1 hour trip by ferry. Nearby Benicia is about 10-14 mins drive with lovely water views, hiking, charming downtown and delicious dining. Mare Island (10 min drive) is worth a day trip to visit the oldest Navy cemetery on the Western coast, former Navy shipyard, tranquil marshes trails and water view as well as hip lunch and dining places. Toll across the Carquinez Bridge is $7 (charged when North-bound, i.e., into Vallejo).
