This was exactly what our family needed for a multiple day getaway. Josh was very attentive and provided very clear instructions so there were never any questions during our stay. The house has many windows and has a majestic view of the river. The huuuge deck was our favorite part of the house, giving our dogs and kids plenty of outdoor space to run around in and to enjoy coffee peacefully in the morning. The neighbors are also very friendly. One neighbor Mike was very kind in showing our kids the turtles and frogs he has in his yard. We would definitely recommend. This place is worth checking out!

Josh’s Tuscan River Retreat was beautiful, peaceful, welcoming and relaxing. It’s obvious there was a lot of thoughtfulness that went into making it so. We would definitely recommend Josh’s retreat to others.

Josh and Nicole’s place was absolutely wonderful. The communication was excellent. I was visiting Marietta for work and instead of crashing on a friend’s couch, decided to bring my family since my daughter had no school. Staying across the river where it was quieter without the train through town was a huge plus. I thought I could only justify the cost because it was a new listing being offered at a special rate- however, it is worth every penny of whatever rate they charge. It is better than pictured, and probably much more enjoyable at any other time of year when the temps aren’t in the 20s. The new indoor fireplace wasn’t working but Josh communicated that in advance. My ONLY sliver of a complaint is the febreze scented laundry detergent and fabric softener, I’m extremely sensitive but everything was brand new so it wasn’t too bad. The kitchen was well stocked and again nearly all brand new. Highly recommend this stay, and would consider any of the other properties from this host!

Beautiful view, neat and clean cottage. Was smaller than the pictures but big enough for the two of us. Well decorated. The only thing we missed was the indoor fire place which was not working as we went in February and we were looking forward to just chilling with the fire and views. Josh was very hospitable and we appreciated the bottle of wine and chocolates left to welcome us. We have been on airbnb since it began and have stayed at several places in the USA as well as in Europe. Hosts used to do this in the earlier days but more recently these little touches have been missing in most Airbnbs especially in the United States. So we really appreciated it at Josh’s place.

Very relaxing stay at this pretty cottage right on the Susquehanna River. Beautifully decorated, comfortable home with lots of nice amenities like a fire pit, grill and a great porch to hang out on to admire the river view. Loved the heated marble floors in the bathroom. Josh was very responsive and we appreciated being able to bring our dogs.
